discussion about requirements to build website for mumbai tech community

Hi guys 

Hope all of you are doing good. 

As you know - volunteers across mumbai groups are successfully organizing 1 meetup per month on a sunday at direct i and its called mumbai tech meetup . 

This meetup has talks from groups of mumpy , mumjs , mrug , mumbai lug - all combined !! 

we use facebook page to rsvp for the event. 

next meetup is likely to happen on 19th jan . 

We all felt a need to organize the meetup activity and to do that we thought of making a github based website.

This post is to collect requirements of the website from group members .

It will be awesome if all of us can list down your answers to the following questions : 

--- Reply needed : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Which information types would you like to browse on the website ? 

[example answer - date , time , talk schedule of next event , proposed talks , vote for talks , past talks , group news , blog posts  etc . ]

2) apart from talks - what would you like to do at the meet up event ? 

[example answer - group discussion , debates , one line competitions , demos ]

If anyone wishes  to contribute towards design , code of website - please email me so that we can divide tasks after we get answers about requirements from group members .

Hello,

1) Which information types would you like to browse on the website?

Date, time and talk schedule of next event. The schedule would clearly differentiate proposed talks and finalised talks for the next event. For the proposed talks, a way to vote. However, this should not be required if there are less than 3 talks per User Group. A way to provide feedback for past talks.

2) apart from talks - what would you like to do at the meet up event?

Demos by startups.

We will freeze the requirements by wednesday - 1st jan 2014 . 

so all the group members have only last 48 hours left to reply to the below 2 questions   :
