Job Description – Back-End Web Developer

 

About the Job:

 

We want an exceptional back-end developer and that sees the world in code. You believe that quality is better than quantity and you can stand proudly behind your work. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, and collaborative Expert Back-End Web Developer who is fluent in the latest server-side, web capabilities and technologies. This will include all aspects of the creative process from conceptualizing to completion including design, development, presenting ideas, and working with leadership to build on the InterProducTec brand values, etc. This position reports into the Program Manager at InterProducTec.

Requirements:

 

1.          2+ years of experience in Node.js (NPM, Consolidate.js, Express) and JavaScript (Ember.js, Coffeescript, Leaflet, JSON, jQuery), Flash
   
2.          3+ years of experience in designing high volume SQL / MySQL / ProstgreSQL / NoSQL Databases (CouchDB/MongoDB, map/reduce functions)
   
3.          Deployment Management
   
4.          In depth knowledge of IT security for web services
   
5.          Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS) or similar platforms preferred
   
6.         RESTful /SOAP web service API development and documentation
   
7.          Expert in using Revision Control Systems (git/mercurial)
   
8.          Experience in agile software development (SCRUM) preferred
   
9.          Should have a positive and advisory approach.
   
10.          Outstanding communications and collaboration skills
    
11.          B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.S., B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or related field
    
12.          Must be willing to work night-shift hours if necessary
