Hi Guys,

Just thought that it would be good to have various HN groups in India
aggregated together.

http://groups.google.com/group/bangalore-hn-meetup
http://groups.google.com/group/delhi-hn-meetup
http://groups.google.com/group/mumbai-hn
http://groups.google.com/group/hnpune

http://groups.google.com/group/hackernewsindia

Is there one for Hyderabad? Please add those I have missed.

(I am cross posting this to all these groups.)

I agree. The number of people on HN from india is very small I think.
There are just 6 members in this group. A pan india group makes more
sense at this point.

I think there will be quite a few Mumbai folks who are on HN.  But no one is connected with each other.

For eg: Bangalore HN group has 90+ members.  I think getting on the front page helped them all get connected.

I've joined the All India group too.  But I think having a local chapter makes sense - less noise.  We don't have to listen to other cities planning their meetups etc.

Thanks

kind regards,
Ankesh

Post this group on HN tonight. Mail us, so we can upvote :). But I
doubt we can get numbers as good as bangalore. When I have come
across Indian HN'ers typically 3/4th of them were from bangalore.
