Dear All,
I am running the attached file; However The program exists in browser mode without completion. I have tried increasing cell size etc but the issue persists. It is not displaying any error and hence difficult to find the cause. I would appreciate your guidance on why it is happening and how it can be resolved.
The configuration of the graphic card is as follows:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU(6140MB), CUDA Driver 13.0, cc=8.9, using cc=89 PTX.
Pl also find attached screenshot of issue for your reference.

Hi,
Thank you for your prompt response. In .out directory unfortunately neither text file nor output files are generated.
Moment the simulations enter hysteresis it gets disconnected.
I have also tried varying >< sign but no benefit

Today i ran just one file still the it ended abruptly. I’ll try again changing the hysteresis for loop
But i doubt thats gonna help
Png should be generated in any case.

Thanking you.

Regards
Your sincerely,

Hello Neeti

I don't know if I am eligible to answer, but I will give it a try.
Usually, the browser disconnects after the simulation finishes; however, your files, which you intend to save, will be available in the .out directory.

If you want to use interactive mode, I believe you might be using this command: "mumax3 -i disc_7.mx3". It should automatically open the browser for you. After you close the tab, it should display the message "browser disconnected".  If you are seeing this message without closing the tab, this might be due to the port being already in use. So, please try a different port by using the following command: "mumax3 -http=:35366 -i disc_7.mx3".

Apart from that,  the above error is not due to the simulation parameters; however, it seems like you are trying to get hysteresis. If so, the "for" loop looks different. > should be replaced with < and vice versa.

Hope it helps
Thanks
Vishnu

Hello Dr. Neeti Keswani

According to the screenshot you shared, the simulation is completed normally; it doesn't seem to have ended abruptly (Maybe it's a different script). I tried running the script you shared on my machine. As expected, the simulation ended normally, and the .out directory contains all intended files. Maybe it's some machine-specific issues or different script?

But I faced port related issue longtime ago, and it was solved when I changed to a different port. So I tried to help. I am not sure about the script execution.

Thanks
Vishnu
