Dear all,

I know that we can use cylinder(D, h) to create a 3D cylinder with diameter D and height h, and Ellipse(a, b) to create a 2D ellipse with semi-axes a and b. My question is: how can we create a 3D cylinder with an elliptical cross-section, defined by axes a and b, and height h?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best,

Bingjin
