to mumax2

Hi all,

I would like to ask two questions

1. If I want to obtain the spin wave energy flow in mumax3, is it reasonable to use tableadd to sum the difference of edens_total between the case with a stable spin wave and the case without any spin wave, over all cells in a cross‑section? The group velocity is known.

2. In mumax3, the interlayer exchange parameter is given as A with units of J/m. However, many papers use J in J/m². How to convert from one to the other?

Furthermore, the DMI constant in Mumax is given in J/m². But if I want to compare the strength of DMI and Aex on neighbouring magnetic moments, can I convert D (J/m²) into a non‑collinear exchange A (J/m) in the same way?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Qwenthur
