Impact of Grid Discretization on Simulated Resonance in Elliptical Structures

  Hello,

I performed micromagnetic simulations on an elliptical structure under an in-plane DC bias field applied at 45°. While keeping the physical thickness of the ellipse fixed, I varied the discretization along the thickness direction by changing the grid size and the number of cells (Nz).  I observed different resonance behaviors depending on the chosen discretization. What could be the underlying reason for this variation? Ultimately, what is the most reliable way to ensure that the simulated resonance spectrum reflects the true physical behavior of the system?
