Read txt file in mumax

Dear all,

Is there any way to read a txt file, like a vector or a 3 columns table, in order to create a given array of nanostructures?

Hello Felipe

If you want to open the table.txt file which is the result file you can use the origin pro . Open origin pro and then drag the txt file over there and you see all the results to columns. Alternative you can use Microsoft Excel.

Thanks Chris, but I want to do the inverse. I have some data and I want mumax to read it to create an array of nanostructures.

Hi Felipe,

You can use another script in python or similar to read the file. Then one can use that python script to print the mumax3 script. One can even use python to execute the generated script.

That way one can produce the structure using a file as a source.
