Hello everyone .
Is there anyone who is currently working on piezoelectric based magnonic devices ? I am working on it and need help on it . Currently i am trying on simulate the piezoelectric model on comsol and done it successfully . but i am failinng to intregate it to micromagnetic module . here i am considering two options for micromagnetic simulation . One is using micromagnetic comsol model available on comsol multiphysics blog which is i am failing to intregate . so i am thinking to do the micromagnetic simulation part on mumax . i am primary knowledge on mumax and it's post processing . Can anyone help me on this who are currently working on it . moreover it will be helpful for me if there is any sample mumax script on it for approaching on this model .

Best regards,

Hi,

I have not used Comsol, so I can't help much with that. For mumax, i would recommend checking this paper. It has a sample script, as well as describing all the features that are new and specific to the magnetoelastic module for mumax. The main thing is you will need to convert your Comsol data to OVF format in order to import it into mumax.

You might also consider looking at mumax+, which also has some nice features for magnetoelastics simulations. It can be found here. It also has example scripts and tutorials that can be found on that page.

Best,
Josh L.
