Hi All,

I was trying to determine the shift current for a domain wall racetrack memory nanowire.

My approach is that I was testing with different values of current and then running the minimize() function and seeing if the domains shifted or not.

However, the values of current i'm getting are much lower than the values that are available online (by a factor of 10).

1. Is the idea for my approach correct?
2. Do I need to calculate the normal electrical resistance of the material and account for that to calculate the "true" shift current value?

I appreciate any input/advice/criticism for my query.

Best Regards,
Mohammad
