Fw: Moments of truth - summary - for your action

Hi,

I am summarising the outcome of last three MOTs.  

1. Planning successful meetings: There were two main suggestions;
1. in case some one has to play a role at the last moment, he should be given print of role guideline document. This will help them in playing the role effectively. SAA can carry the prints. Today we had some goof ups by role players as they were given roles at the last moment.
2.  We have breached time by comfortable margin in past. Members don't like to stay back late. Many of them have families. It is simply not possible for them to spend any longer than 8:30. We need to discipline our role players by allotting them limited time duration. 

 2. Membership strength: Following points came out:

            - Keep in touch with members who have stopped coming to meetings        phone. Increase the activities on face book. This will keep non coming members abreast of latest happenings in the club and they will be attracted to come again.

            - Publicise club events/meeting in local newspaper (Mulund times etc)

            - while registering a referred new member () on TMI, mention the name of the Toastmaster who has referred. TMI recognises Toastmasters who have referred 5 new members.

 

3. Achievement Recognition:

            - Explain DCP goals as part of new members' orientation curriculum.

            - Send members' progress tracker frequently.

            - Add Achievement section on website and keep updating it with members'     achievements.
