Thank you, TM Nikhil to present the chronological order of women architect (in TM Sunil’s words) of Mulund Toastmaster Club and in general of Toastmaster Group. It was overwhelming.

They say “Too many cooks spoil the broth “  but  thanks to our VP education   -TM Eknath, the broth cooked on 09th March was not only excellent  but the cooks even enjoyed the preparation. To make it sound simple, the multiple numbered, women team (in words of  TM Susheel) as role players  not only  ignited the  right atmosphere for  the meeting, fuelled it to its paramount  and propelled it  to its success.

Meeting was inaugurated by acting sergeant in arms by exuberant TM Namrata in an Indian official attire – The Saree, reflecting the true free spirit of Indian woman- a melting pot, yet being grounded to once‘s own roots. Followed by surprise, surprise –TM Manisha Joshi – MTC President 2009-10, presented the quintessence of a Toast Master in a form of a short story.     Toastmaster of the day, TM Pratibha in sassy style imparted English Bytes (Theme of the day) and kept nourishing our intellectuals. TM Prachi with her impeccable grace presented the timers report. TM Akansha bolstered the AH counter role with her thorough report.  TM Shashikala, surprisingly, showed good listening skills and gave her grammarian report, seriously! TM Namarata again made us laugh with her vivacious jokes as a Jokemaster.    Delightfully, TM Jalpa was geared up with all women topics as Table Topic Master. General Evaluator’s TM DInal audaciously   gave her opinion on the conduct of meeting, speakers, role players and evaluators, while adding free suggestions for better meetings. Clued-up TM Janki  and  TM Apurva made their  presence felt with elaborate evaluation and unprejudiced table topic, respectively. Another surprise was planned for the evening when TM Sumangala Shetty  the first founder President  of MTC gave away the awards to winners; Best Speech : TM Harshal, Best Table Topic Speaker: TM Susheel, Best Evaluation: TM Anand ( ALL MEN) .  The highlight of the meeting was distribution of  Chocolate to all the women Toastmasters’ by non-other than our President TM Shashank.

A commemorative meeting, it was; Celebrating Women’s day in  Mulund Toastmaster.

Once again our sincere appreciation and thanks to each and every one of those who contributed in however little manner and ways to make us feel honored, respected and valued in the meeting on 09th march 2013 on day of  women’s celebration.

Take Care,

Happy Folks of Mulund Toastmaster.  J
