Creating Printers under Linux RH for use with JBase 3.8 Pick Users

I am in the process of converting from DG Unix to Linux Red Hat using
Jbase as the underlying Pick system.

When I set up printers under DG Unix, I would first go to the /etc/
hosts file and add the new IP address for the printer, and the net
name it would use.

Then I'd go to the JBase SP-STATUS function and create the Pick
Spooler Queue.

I would like to perform the same functions under Linux.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
