Has this group changed?

I seem to remember looking at this group and seeing nothing much but
spam. I just took another look an no longer see any of that. I also
see that the group is moderated.

Is this a change?

Yes this is a change because there was too much spam. So It is moderated for now. This limits the amount of spam.

This group never took off IIRC. I think Michael Preece started it when he was in a previous job or so. At some point he added me as a moderator, but it is a never-off-the-ground effort to date.

It would be nice to migrate some of the other traffic, such as that to u2-community or cdp, to this forum, but with twitter, various blogs, email lists that won't die (much easier to create one than to end one), etc, I'm guessing it will remain in this unused state until someone decides to do something with it. I might try to use it for a project of mine, but that would be in the future. If you would like to be a moderator, talk to Mike Preece. If you would like to jump in and try to use it, have at it. I know there are a few of us listening.  --dawn

I do not have anything specific. I am just happy to see the spam go
away and to see the group be mv related.

I would like to see the group be used.

I tend to check on most of the groups that mv releated. I admit that
right now, I do seem to have a problem with the u2 groups.
