I am in the process of converting from DG Unix to Linux Red Hat using
Jbase as the underlying Pick system.

When a new user needed to be created I would go to the Unix sysadm
command and set up the user, the port to be used, and a password if
any.

I would then edit the user profile (/home/username/.profile and modify
it; to perform any specific housekeeping and to display the initial
logon menu for the specific user.

I need to perform the same under Linux Red Hat.

The initial setup for the user is a given.

But what do I do in order to display a logon menu for this specific
user?

Any assistance would be helpful.

Thanks.
