Has anyone out there got a Fship application to run from a “cron” in Linux?

We created the most basic hello_world.prg and compiled it with the switch io=t (thinking that there may be a problem running GUI based apps from cron)

Our prg simply contains - ?'Hello world'

And this is what our Linux helper reports

Jul  8 10:23:01 server cron[9697]: (root) CMD (/root/hello_world.acc)

Jul  8 10:23:01 server cron[9696]: (root) MAIL (mailed 33 bytes of output but got status 0x004e

Jul  8 10:24:01 server cron[9728]: (root) CMD (/root/hello_world.acc)

Jul  8 10:24:01 server cron[9727]: (root) MAIL (mailed 33 bytes of output but got status 0x004e

Any ideas?

Sorted

It needed a compile switch “io=b”

Thanks to Denise for the suggestions!

I know it's a while since you posted, but we regularly run Flagship apps via cron on Linuix and use the following flags

 -ru -w1 -w2 -w3 -na -nO -nc -nL -q
