It would be much easier if we were somehow able to utilize the Mycroft Project website to import engines.  I'm not sure of the technical ramifications, but that's what the Firefox  extension "context search" can utilize.  Not complaining, as I think that your extension is a really good one as it is.

Hi, this is technically possible and indeed is meant to be part of the functionality of Multi Search (you'll notice a link to the Mycroft Project on the Search Engines tab of the Multi Search Options page). A change to the web site address of the Mycroft Project broke the code inject used by Multi Search, I have released an update that fixes this problem (you will need to make sure your copy of the extension has been updated). You should see a Multi Search icon next to search engines listed on the Mycroft Project, simply click this icon to add the desired search engine to Multi Search.
