One thing I've noticed if I don't get a fire-off is if I don't take the time to actually top off the water or water/alcohol mix, I figure enough evaporates that the tube is dry. If this happens, I stop, fill the Plaz until it spits out of the plasma hole, then I try again and it almost always fires up the first time after that.

John Matthews <1776pi...@gmail.com>: Jun 20 08:07PM -0700 Can you clean the tubes that are made of quarts? I also had a problem with my welding gun. The thing had so much resistance that the welder would not fire up. I cleaned off the corrosion in the internal workings of the gun and it seems to work fine.
