mmd2pdf.pl not working, any suggestions?

Greetings.

I tried to convert MMD document to pdf, using tools on in /bin/. When
doing so, I get an error:

sh: pdflatex: command not found
sh: bibtex: command not found
sh: makeindex: command not found
sh: kpsewhich: command not found
sh: makeindex: command not found
sh: pdflatex: command not found
sh: pdflatex: command not found
sh: pdflatex: command not found
sh: pdflatex: command not found

Obviously something is not found. :) After some furious googling, I
tried to compile pdflatex (or, pdfTeX), but that got me nowhere.

I have OS X 10.5.8.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to get the mmd2pdf.pl on OS X at all?

It looks like you need to install MacTex (or equivalent):

http://www.tug.org/mactex/
