August 1, 2009, 3:18 a.m. in the morning when the news about our
former President Corazon Aquino was heard over the radio and
television. The news was about the death of the former President.
According to her eldest daughter, before dying the last word that was
heard from their mother was "family." Her children shared thoughts of
their mother over the television. As what we've seen in the past few
days before she died, most of us joined the prayer activities for her
survival. In this case, we have seen how much they love Cory. Cory's
death is another great loss for Filipino. And I'm sure that her legacy
will be rembered in a lifetime even if she's not here now, because of
the good things that she done here in land not only in the Philippines
will engraved in the heart of majority.

Cory's death is another great loss for the Filipino people. Will her
legacy be remembered in a lifetime?
If yes, why do you say so?

PEACE...PROGRESS...FREEDOM...
Who will forget these words which were contributed by
the legacy left by the passed president of the Philippines, Ex-
President Maria Corazon Sumulong Cojuangco Aquino? Her contributions
or legacy will always be remember because she did progressive actions
for the better future of our beloved country.
Moreover, under her great legacy, she played an
important role in our country. She forced to get back the freedom
wanted by us, Filipinos. It happened during the dictatorial
leadership of President Ferdinand Marcos. Because of her braveness
and strong to God faith, she able to face President Marcos on one
particular presidential electio, fortunately, she was elected as the
new president of the Republic of the Philippines. This time, her
revolutionary/democratic leadership started. As far she was leading
our country, it sense that the progrees of our country was working.
That's why she was declared as the "Mother of Democracy" of the
Philippines.
Aside from being a good leader, she was also a
responsible wife to her husband and a loving and caring mother to her
siblings. Another remarkable thing about President Cory was the color
yellow which has been took part of her legacy.
So, there are no invalid reasons why Filipinos or
even Asians can't forget President Aquino regarding her remarkable
deeds to our country.
