The act pf racism which ignited this stage of the protest, which has
been going on for some time now as one youth was already tried and
subsequently had his conviction thrown out by an appellate court due
to public outcry, is not whether punishment should be meted out,
rather, that the DA is seeking an attempted murder charge for what
some are calling a "school yard" dispute. Yet another incident of
excessive punishment for black men/youth.

My son's interracial school here in San Francisco, LIck-Wilmderding
High School, is joining the protest by wearing all black and having
discussions in their advising groups school wide.
