After Intel accquire windriver, Cavium goes the same way to enhance
their DSO area.
And so, the public common DSO company will dispear? One solution has
to be bundled to one special CPU company? It is the right way for the
embedded world?

So, this isn't really a multicore topic, nor is it related to the
Multicore Association, but my opinion is that this is the way the
capitalistic world works. It is not really in the best interest of the
OEM/system developer, but is a good move for the CPU company (i.e.
Intel and Cavium). It's also a great opportunity for the 2nd tier OS
companies (such as LynuxWorks) to now move into top spot as long as
they can execute.
