I'm using the multiple camera calibration toolbox for calibrating
Firefly MV cameras supplied by Point Grey Research. The LED color in
the images that we get from the camera is white. How do we set the
configuration parameters for black and white images.

I tried changing a few parameters, but the MATLAB toolbox was not able
to detect the points.

I was not getting good results when I supplied the point data to the
toolbox.(I'm using 4 cameras running at 30 fps that are synchronized).
Hence I would like try giving the images as input to the toolbox
instead of the point data.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Sajeev,

I have successfully used the point detection from the toolbox with b&w images.
You can instead of the color use 'grayscale'. Check the file 'getpoints' if I'm not mistaken.

Use 'showpoints' to confirm the points are correct.

I tried using the grayscale. But the points are not detected.

When I ran 'showpoints', it says 'No points found'.

I'm not sure if I have to make any other changes to the config
parameters while using a grayscale image.

I changed the LED color of a few images to Red for testing. The toolbox
was able to detect the points.

I will send you the images generated by the camera for testing.

Could you please check whether you are able to extract the points.
