Hi Simon,

The general problem is called triangulation. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangulation_(computer_vision) .

For individual time points (no tracking), I use the method outlined in Hartley & Zisserman 2003 sections 12.2 and A5.3 . A bit of googling brought up this matlab code: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2276445/triangulation-direct-linear-transform

For tracking, there's more to consider and my thoughts on the subject are in our paper: http://rsif.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/early/2010/07/13/rsif.2010.0230.full

Best regards,
Andrew

We have the self-calibration code working.  Now we have the camera parameters, the obvious next step is to collect some data and reconstruct 3d positions.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Thanks!

Hi Simon,

see the function
./MultiCamValidation/CoreFunctions/uP2X.m
in the package
