with the slow death of Creator, :-(
it looks like time to look for an alternative.

the obvious thing is indesign, someday we plan on adding automation to our ad layout process, (this may be the spark to get that started)
I don't like the Idea of depending on a "cloud" program to build our automation around, Adobe could break it at anytime.  (by changing something in the software) Working in indesign is SLOW compared to creator. the subscription is not cheap, in the past we skipped a couple versions of photoshop and illistrator to save money, no more skipping

I downloaded a trial version of quark, its much better than last time we looked at it, and it seems a little more like creator then indesign. the boss told me to get on some discussion groups and find out what users had to say, when doing that I came across affinity suite, its cheap, mosts comments seem to be positive on the illustrator and photoshop clones, the indesign clone is due out in 2016. the company that makes it has been around 25 years,

any others worth considering?

Here's my response. Multi-Ad Services can continue to support and update Creator or they can take their whole service and shove it. I'm paying a bunch of money every year to Multi-Ad for services that can easily be obtained elsewhere; Creator cannot, and they better understand that is a genuine sales point.

Patrick,

Another company owns the rights to Creator. As of October of last year MultiAd was purchased by SGS International, headquartered in Louisville, Ky. Email them and ask them when the new update is coming. in...@sgsintl.com or try sgs...@sgsintl.com

I agree, definitely sound interesting. However the Publisher app is not going to beta until fall and they plan on releasing a working version in 2017. Hopefully, Creator can last until then. This company sounds promising. Won awards for its Illustrator and Photoshop clones.
