Okay, now that macOS Sierra is out, has anyone tried running Creator on it?

anyone?? i would like to know as well.

i dread the day the MultiAd Creator is no more.

i tried working with InDesign..keeping an open mind but it just doesnt match the performance of MultiAd Creator. I can't believe InDesign is "the industry standard" (I assume the popularity of the other Adobe Products helped its rise to the top)

i went so far as to develop different scripts for InDesign to try an emulate some of  MultiAd Creators functionality...while my scripts were successful... InDesign still remained clumsy and overly complex.

InDesign was designed to create and publish pages not ads (InDesign aka Page Maker)

I have no idea what my group will do.

I do know that our ad production numbers and quality beat out the other sites in the company that use InDesign. (statistically we produce an ad every 10 minutes vs. 20-30 minutes at the InDesign sites. yes it could just be a matter of user/software proficiency....but having used InDesign and really really trying my hardest to like it and make it work...it just doesn't)

maybe we could crowd fund? buy Creator and update it for the future LMAO

Good news. I tested Creator 8.5.1 for 5 minutes in Demo mode on macOS Sierra 10.12.1 beta which has just been released. It launched fine and everything seemed to work. The public version is still at 10.12

Thanks for testing it, please keep us posted if any new compatibility problems show up.

I am running Creator 8.5.3 or 8.5.4 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 with no problems except for saving to Windows or Mac Server. The workaround is save to desktop and then drag over to server and replace original. Has anyone else experienced this?

I talked to LSA and this is a response I got:

When the MultiAd and Ad-Builder companies split it was decided that there would be no further development of Creator.  MultiAd is now an SGS Company, and Ad-Builder is now LSA. The final version was 8.5.4 as it is. I checked with tech support to see if they are aware of a work around and they are not. I apologize!

The code was actually sold to SGS. LSA no longer has anything to do with Creator. Don’t think support at SGS is really do anything with it.
