i wish, i wish, i wish there was a version of creator for mac or pc that
would allow the user to open an existing add and print it (possibly an
export to pdf function would be nice...but the program would have no
other capability)

why?

because at least 12+ times a day i get a call from someone who wants a
copy of an ad done years prior.

tearsheets are things of the past..too time consuming...so much easier
to send an email/call and have the artist print a copy

I agree, it would be great if sales people could just print a copy of the ad themselves.

We do have Creator Express in the Mac App store that was designed for home users and sales reps. Currently we only have a Mac version available.

We have back issues saved on CD, as far back as 1998. We usually send out JPEG proofs, which we also save in each month's folder, so I just pull one up and email it to whoever asked

Cheers, Kar

are proofs are pdf and we do archive our old ads on the server..but it
never fails that someone will want to get a copy of an old ad..that is
no loner active.

i have creator set up soit that everytime we save an ad ..it generates a
PDF of that ad and uploads it to a shared drive where the salestaff can
access it.

but there is only so much hard drive space for the pdf proofs..so it is
empited once a month...but the main issue is that we have to stop and
dig up an old ad that is no longer active...

it would be nice if they dig up their own ads
