issues with creator 8.0.4 and 10.10.2

is anyone experiencing any issue with creator 8.0.4 and os 10.10.2??

having odd issues

a very simple example is when you go to creator>about creator the
resulting splash screen flickers on and off..so badly you can't read
what version you are running (its a poor example and i just discovered
it while i was writing this email...couldnt remember what version i was
running ;)

a more pertinent example occurs when a document is searching for a
previously placed graphic...the resulting dialog appears incomplete and
refreshes slowly. at times the only button that appears is "can't find"

i did test the above issue with 8.5.1 to yield the same result

any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated

8.0.4 is really, really old. 8.5.3 works fine for me on 10.10.2.

unfortunately we need to purchase more copies before we can make the
switch (not in the budget) and 8.5.3 still has some unresolved issues
ex: creator boarders drawing with white lines (minor issue i know but it
annoys some)


and still i have the issue... regardless of version..acts like an old
fashioned memory issue but i doubt thats the issue

Oh boy. We're using 7.0.6. On OS 10.5.8.  SOmehow, we make it work...
