The deadline for Tutorial and Workshop proposals has been extended to May 26, 2017!

Interacting with Surfaces and Spaces

ISS is a premier venue for presenting research in the design and use of new and emerging surface and space technologies. Tutorials provide a broad overview of particular topics in the area of Interactive Surfaces and Spaces from recognized experts in the field.

We invite industry and academic leaders in interactive surfaces and spaces technologies interested in leading a tutorial or workshop session at ISS 2017 to submit a proposal following the guidelines below. We welcome proposals from a large variety of topics and domains.

Examples topics include but are not limited to:
- Multi-touch on mobile devices
- Large (wall-sized) surfaces
- Surfaces in public spaces, workplaces, homes
- Surfaces in domain-specific environments (e.g., safety critical, education, games)
- Information or scientific visualization on interactive surfaces
- Shape-changing surfaces and spaces
- ... and other exciting topics!
