As an annual conference series starting in 2006, ACM ISS (Interactive Surfaces and Spaces, formerly known as ACM ITS, International Conference on Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces) is the premier venue for research addressing the design, development and use of new and emerging tabletop, digital surface, interactive spaces and multi-surface technologies. Over the years ISS has been a venue for research and applications of interactive surfaces as well as spaces, which has been acknowledged by the incorporation of 'Space' into our conference identity since 2016. Interactive Surfaces and Spaces increasingly pervade our everyday life, appearing in various sizes, shapes, and application contexts, offering a rich variety of ways to interact.
The ISS steering committee members are looking forward to your contribution and participation at the ISS conference.
For the content of the bid and further information about the bidding process see the ISS web site: https://iss.acm.org/index.html#tab-bids.
We are paying special attention to diversity (gender, culture, economics, etc.) both in the organizing committee and in how the organizers plan to attract a diverse audience to ACM ISS.
We welcome bids from teams planning to host other conferences (i.e., we are open to co-location).
Bids should be sent to stee...@iss.acm.org as a single PDF. After receiving bids, the ACM ISS steering committee will review and vote on the bids. Bids will continue to be accepted until the venues are decided. We will begin reviewing bids on March 31st 2022.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of the steering committee members.
Looking forward to your bids!
Best regards,
Raimund Dachselt,
