Pass parameters to scripts

Is it possible to pass parameters to scripts from the config file?

We have the same Transaction script  over and over, all that changes for the user group would be 2-3 parameters.

So I would like to do something like

[user_group-1]
threads = 25
script = test.py param1 param2

[user_group-2]
threads = 25
script =test.py param3 param4

etc.
