Competitive balance draft

Boys,

Hope everyone has been enjoying the summer and is looking forward to watching the sox beat on the yanks tonight. Thought we should start getting a date together for our draft. Super bow rematch season opener is Thurs Sept 8, so maybe we shoot for mid-week one of the last two weeks of August. What do people think about after work on Weds 8/24 or Weds 8/31?

Also, if anyone wants to propose any structure changes nows the time. Reminder we've got 2 mandatory keepers, $100 buy in, 2 qb. Everything else standard. I'll get started with one change proposal I think will keep our competitive balance in tact. 

- 2 mandatory keepers, unless you made the playoffs where you'd have 3 mandatory keepers. 

Let me know how dates work for people and what people think about that rule change. If anyone likes it I'll put it on the league voting page.

Yeah Smitty we can move the divisions around however we want. Let me know if anyone has an idea for how they should be organized, otherwise we can just go with dick size.

We'll set the keeper deadline for a few hours before the draft starts, but the sooner guys can put those in once we get the league set up, the better

Everyone needs to pick keepers by 8pm tonight. 

Scotty and Sythe have been brainstorming some new ways to make the league more interactive. I will let them take it from here.

Yes. Plan is to continue the tiered payouts from last year (money for best overall record as well as high point totals for last four weeks) but also add in a 'Donkey of the Week'.

The donkey would be the person with lowest points scored each week (most likely Crane). One of us will then send around a recap of that team's abysmal performance, highlighting the specific sections that led to obtaining donkey status. Note that decision will typically involve starting a jets quarterback. 

Aside from that we'll keep things the same. Divisional realignments will be announced tonight before the draft as well. Remember to get your keepers in and submit your dick sizes (length, girth, color) for realignment purposes by 8pm. 

Draft's at 830. Bones I'm coming over - let me know if you need feta.

Craney get on the Busch stadium wifi and mobile draft

Fortunately I was able to tap the Busch Stadium wifi and participate in Round 1 this year.  It seems autodraft treated me decently the rest of the night (while the Cards breezed to an 8-1 W over the Mets), and the Saint Louis Mudflaps appear to be the team to beat in 2016.

Who else were the drafts big winners and losers?

Im going out on a limb and proclaiming the green street elite as preseason #1 as a result of their RB situation. I've never won any fantasy league though so I don't put much weight on my predictions.  

Going to be collecting money before the season starts this year, to keep guys more engaged. $100 to me through venmo, PayPal or BofA transfer. First person to pay will avoid hate mail from Scotty.
