Duration: 6+ months with extension likely
Location: Langhorne, PA in office most days
Start: ASAP
Project: Focus on resolving identified security issues within a widely used desktop-based, client/server system
Required Education and Experience
BSEE/BSCS or science degree Master's degree a plus
10+ years working under a prescribed development process
C#/.Net experience (up through .Net 4.7/4.8)
C++ and/or C experience (Visual C++ 6.0)
Windows desktop design, implementation, and test including WPF and WinForms.
Interoperability between C# and C++ (managed or unmanaged)
Experience developing software for constrained target environments including multi-threaded application design
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Database design and optimization using SQL Server (up through 2014/2019)
Experience in the following considered a plus
Experience with Microsoft COM/DCOM
Experience with third-party packages for Microsoft Windows including UI Controls, Crytal Reports, and/or DbDefence
TCP/IP based messaging protocols
Data encryption using TLS
Visual Basic 6
FDA 510(K) process and quality system requirements
