Tuesday October 19th Mulch Work Day

Hi Friends!!

You probably already know that we got a large chip drop last week and would like to have it spread completely before Mulberry Fields Gone Wylde on October 23. My regular Mulberry Fields Work Day is on Tuesday with Betsy (you are always welcome to join us), so I'm going to turn October 19th into a mulch day!

I'll be out there working on spreading the last of the pile and I invite you to join me. I'll be there from 9-12, and then from 1 until 4. You are welcome to join for as little or as long as you can. Please reply directly to me if you think you can join me, and for how long.

Hi Troy (and other plot holders),

Thanks, Troy, for your message and apologies for my tardy reply.

Some walkways next to plots in the lower end of the garden are in particular need of new chips (check out those areas with installed cardboard, among others).

But I believe we have enough chips to eventually add a layer to all garden walkways, whenever folks are in the garden and have time to help out.

Of course the special CHIP DAY is Tuesday, when we look forward to having more gardeners on hand. 

Joy will be leading the day and will certainly have recommendations! Questions? Please contact Joy!

Finally, Dick Bathrick has very helpfully provided a pile of chips at the lower corner of the garden, to facilitate placing chips in nearby walkways.
