Ready, Set, Go Compost!!

I hope you have had a chance to see the new compost bins built by a Wylde Center carpenter.  They are terrific!

We now have three bins, the one on the left to place material for composting, the next one is for the material to "cook" or the compost process, the third for compost that is ready to use.

It takes some work (not a lot) to keep the compost active.  We are asking for volunteers who would rotate week to week to turn the compost, put the active compost into the bin to "cook" when ready and then to sift the cooked material to the Ready bin.  Please let me know if you have always had a desire to be part of the composting process.

I am interested but I will need a little more instruction to make sure I do the right thing.
