Doing localization in this way is just a sick mentality... chars are in html code....what's this !!!!!!
Punbb's language pack is very small and it will not take more than one day for translating
in unicode ..

This is unicode but the chars are in html code so that no one can change this further easily. You can contact with Raju(hugrycoder) of projanmo forum. He should have the new version of lang pack(not in html mode)

The reason I know, raju did that in that way was to make it compatible for his purposes. It wasn't even available for public for long time for some unknown reasons (raju did not tell those).

Later it was fixed, and the latest files were indeed in utf-8 (not escaped).

I have those files (with some spelling corrections, HTML corrections).
If you need this, let me know.

There is no problem with punbb if language file in utf-8...that mans no compatibility issues here and I think he did in way intentionally(may be I know the reason but I don't want to share).

Whatever the reason, let's better not speak bad of others. The files I have are all UTF, made from those HTML escaped. It wasnt actually not hard. Just loaded in Frontpage, Copy pasted to another text editor.

আমি অনেকদিন ধরেই মুক্তর জুমলা এডিটরে ইউনিজয় সাপোর্ট চেয়েছিলাম, ভার্চুয়াল
কিবোর্ড থাকলে আরো ভালো। এতে জেনারেল ইউজার রা সহজেই বাংলায় লেখতে পারবে।

ফয়সল,

পানবিবি:
১. বাংলা জিপের ফোল্ডারসহ ফাইলগুলো বিবির ল্যানগ ফোল্ডারের মধ্যে দিতে হবে। তারপর ফোরামের এডমিনে ঢুকে ভাষা পছন্দ করতে হবে।

২. বাংলা ফোল্ডারের ভেতর মেইলটেম্পলেটের মধ্যে কিছু ফাইল আছে। এসব ফাইলে সাইট সংশ্লিষ্ট কিছু কথাবার্তা আছে। বিশেষত ওয়েলকাম আর এক্টিভেট_ইমেইল এর মধ্যে (বাংলা কর্ডে স্বাগতম ইত্যাদি)। এগুলো মুক্ত সংশ্লিষ্ট করতে হবে।

৩. ল্যাংগুয়েজ ফাইলগুলোতে একটাদুটা বাড়তি কিছু স্ট্রিং থাকতে পারে, আমার নিজের জন্য যোগ করা। ঠিক করে নিতে হবে।

৪. ফাইলগুলো utf-8 ফরম্যাটের কিন্তু কোন বম নেই। তাই নোটপ্যাড ঠিকমতো দেখাতে পারবে না। এর জন্য ব্যাবেল প্যাড ভাল।


জুমলা:
১. মানচু টাইনির প্লাগইন নিয়ে কাজ করছিল। জানিনা শেষ পর্যন্ত কতদূর হয়েছে।
২. No WYSIWYG চাইলে আমি সমাধান দিতে পারি। হাসিন/মানচুর সব কীবোর্ড স্ক্রিপ্ট যোগ করা যায় ওতে।
