Even though it's very sad that our Dr. Raj passed away, it is great to hear this news about eye donation.

Pass this message to all your known folks so that Dr. Raj can be a real example for supporting this noble cause and thereby showing way to lot of other people to come forward to donate the eyes!!

Eyes donated to 'eye bank'

As per his wish, the eyes of Kannada thespian Rajkumar, who died here today, were donated to the "Eye Bank", the actor's personal physician Dr Ramana Rao said. Dr Bhujanga Shetty of Narayana Nethralaya performed the surgery to remove the eyes soon after Rajkumar died, Rao said. It was Rajkumar's wish that his eyes be donated to the eye bank after his death, he said.

Hi all,
           I am sad about Dr. Raj's passing away but at the same time glad that his eyes very donated. I think eyes are the most invaluable organs of the body and its such a noble and wonderful cause. Let his noble soul rest in peace.

Yes, It is indeed sad about Dr. Raj's passing away. Due respects to him for his kind gesture of donating his eyes that does enable some one to see with Raj's eyes..

 

Good initiative of Eye Donation awareness camp. It will also be great, in future if Mukta organize overall awareness camp about disability with particular focus on exhibiting skills of employment of disabled. Since the economic rehabilitation is the ultimate need.
