Registering Mukta as an NPO

Hi team,

Many are suggesting to register Mukta. I would like to know your opinion about it. Many opine that registering our organization will make it less vulnarable and would give some insulation from legal issues.

So let me know what you feel about it. Also if you guys are aware of procedure/issues related to registration, plz update the group.

Yes, it is a good idea to register Mukta. We should register under societies registration Act of 1860 and Mysore Society's Registration Act. I will post complete procedure with required links for necessary application forms in next two days.

CSP - there is a book on NGO at my home. Pick it up. It gives a complete description of different options to register. Please go over it before making any decision.
