PRESIDENT'S WELCOME SEMESTER 2!

As I'm sure most of you are aware, we held our Annual General Meeting
last semester and a new committee was elected. I would like to take the
opportunity to say thank-you to those who attended. I would also like
to acknowledge the time and effort the previous committee has put into
organising the club's various events. Thank-you so much! The new
committee members are as follows:

We are working hard to bring you more fun and exciting events this coming
semester! Our first major event starts next week, so make sure you come
along with your friends and have fun! Also, I would like to say a big
thank-you to Izumi, James and Elise Malberg for kindly translating our
website into Japanese! Check it out; the Japanese version can be accessed
by clicking 'Nihongo' at the top right-hand corner of the page.

TSURUMI SOCIAL NIGHT!! (NOMIKAI - NEXT WEEK)

Semester 2's first NOMIKAI is finally here!!!

To kick off Semester 2 with our Japanese friends from Tsurumi University
School of Dental Medicine, we are having our first Social Night NEXT WEEK.
Come along, make new friends and socialise over a drink in a casual
environment. This is a perfect opportunity for those who want to practice
their Japanese/English (especially if you can't make it to our conversation
sessions). So bring your friends, buy a few drinks and enjoy the latest
J-POP music while you eat some nibblies!

ALL ARE WELCOME!!

CONVERSATION SESSIONS START NEXT THURSDAY!

Join us in Room 120 to practice speaking Japanese/English in a friendly and
casual environment while enjoying some tasty snacks from Japan! Anyone with
an interest in Japanese language and culture is welcome!
