NEW WAY TO JOIN THE CLUB!
--------------------------
You may now join the Japanese Club between 9am - 5pm weekdays at the Sidney Myer Asia Centre. Simply collect a membership envelope from beside the 2nd Floor reception window, fill out all your details and enclose your exact membership fee. Ensure you carefully seal the envelope and hand it in to reception. We will then confirm your membership request via email. Make sure you write your information clearly and provide your mobile number if you believe we may not be able to read your handwriting.

In addition, you are still able to join at any of our club events. Club membership remains $3 for non-student union members and $1 for members.

*I am in the process of printing some envelopes and they should be available by Tuesday 21st.

These classes will be conducted by Hongo Sensei who is a qualified calligraphy instructor. No previous experience in calligraphy or Japanese language is required. Students are required to attend at least 75% of classes to obtain their certificate of completion.

Date: Every Wednesday starting Week 7 (5th September)
Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Place: TBA
Cost: one-off $30 non-refundable deposit
(covers the cost of 6 weeks of materials)

In order to keep the class size low, places are limited and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Please give your details and deposit to one of our committee members at conversation sessions or email me to make alternative arrangements. If you wish to attend but don't have membership, you may join when you pay the deposit.
