Free BBQ with Japanese University students!
When:
1pm, Friday 15 February, with Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto) and Tamagawa University (Tokyo)
&
1pm, Wednesday 20 February, with Kobe University
Where:
Deep Dish courtyard (outside under the tree, at rear of 1888 Building)
Why:
During February and March, the Australian Centre at the University of Melbourne will host student groups from three Japanese universities here at the Parkville Campus. They will be in Melbourne to study English and learn about Australian culture for 3-4 weeks. To enhance their cultural learning and provide an opportunity for Melbourne university students to meet some Japanese counterparts, we would like to organise a 'get together'. If you are interested in Japan, its culture and/or language, please join our free BBQ lunch on campus.
The students will be looking forward to getting to know you and to speaking with you in English and/or Japanese!
