Annual General Meeting 2007 - Wednesday 23rd May

I have something important to announce. The Japanese Club will hold
the 2007 Annual General Meeting (AGM), on Wednesday 23rd May at
lunchtime. Please keep this time free!
If you're interested in leadership, attaining skills or being part of
a team, this is your chance to shine! For those who have taken part in
the club's events, have an enthusiasm for Japanese language and
culture, or have otherwise benefited from being part of the club, I
encourage you to come to the AGM to support the club.
The AGM will include reports on what the Japanese Club has been doing
over the last year, amendments to the existing constitution, and
elections.
Details:
- Venue: Room G01, Sidney Myer Asia Centre (Ground floor)
- Date and time: Wednesday 23rd May (Week 12), 12:50 for a 1pm start
- Food will be provided.
Positions available at the AGM:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Education Officer
- Activities Officer
- Publicity Officer
- Level Representatives (3 positions)
Constitutional amendments:
- Addition: "At least 2 members of the executive must be members of UMSU."
- Removal: "All students of the Japanese Faculty are automatically members."
- Modification: Replace "Student Union" (wherever it occurs) with "UMSU".
Hard copies of the agenda and current constitution will be handed out
at the AGM.
