Please note that AFTER this week will be having a two-week holiday period. Therefore, there will be NO CONVERSATION SESSIONS on the 20th and 27th of September.

J-DRAMA SESSIONS - TOMORROW
----------------------------
We will start our long-awaited J-Drama Sessions this week! Come along, relax and watch real Japanese TV with English subtitles on two projection screens! This is your chance to make new friends and further improve on your listening comprehension skills while watching 'Hana yori dango'. Japanese snacks will be provided!
Date: This Monday 10th September (then every Monday after the two-week break)
Time: 1pm - 2.15pm
Location: Alice Hoy 225
Cost: FREE event!

MONASH JAPANESE CLUB COCKTAIL NIGHT
------------------------------------
Where: Baraki (168 Lonsdale St, Melbourne)
When: 20th of September 2007
Theme: Japanese Idols (Optional)
What's included: Unlimited beer, wine, spirits etc., finger food, live Japanese band, prizes (best dressed, raffle, etc.) and heaps of fun.
Cost: $43

FREE EVENT: THE 11TH JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL

This is an annual showcase of Japanese Film Festival in Melbourne to celebrate its 11th year, held by the Consulate-General of Japan, Melbourne, the Japan Foundation, Sydney, supported by Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
Free tickets will be available from Saturday 27 ~ Wednesday 31 October 2007 at ACMI Box Office (Federation Square) 10 am-6pm.

Monday 29/10/07 6.30 pm ACMI Cinema 2
"Pacchigi" - We shall overcome someday- (2004) Drama 119 min
Tuesday 30/10/07 6.30 pm ACMI Cinema 2
"Linda, Linda, Linda" (2005) Comedy 114 min

"Haru no Yuki - Spring Snow" (2005) Drama 150 min
