Week 4 Updates

Very quickly, it is already Week 4. For MUISS, we have only three
events to report, but first allow me to thank everyone who made
Multicultural Festival (MCF) 2007 a fantastic success. To formally
conclude MCF, the Monash Multicultural Night (MMN) is going to be held
on the 10th of August at The International of Brighton. Places are
limited, so hurry up and book your place! Secondly, the Mid Autumn
Festival (MAF) is going to be held on the 14th of September.
Currently, the position for logistics officer is still open, and
volunteers are needed. Interested individuals please PM Kellie (MAF
Chairperson) or leave a message in the MAF thread. Furthermore, our
cooking demo #4 is just around the corner (7th of August), and we will
be teaching international students how to make popiah. Come along to
the MUISS lounge for an excellent popiah-making experience.

International clubs wise, SAM is having an A*STAR information session
on the 7th of August in Monash Caulfield. Mocasca is also having a
career seminar on the 8th of August in H4, building 11. Students
should make full use of this opportunity and are highly encouraged to
attend. Lastly, Monash French Society is having their Annual General
Meeting (AGM) on the 16th of August at E 365, Building 11. Attendance
is highly encouraged, and attendance is compulsory for members who are
interested in running for next year's committee.
