Week 9 Updates
MUISS
calendar for semester one. First and foremost, allow me to
congratulate our very first iPod winner- icycaesar!
To the updates! For MUISS, this is a relatively quiet week for us.
However, we have two upcoming events that is worthy of notice.
Firstly, our 2nd budget lunch of the semester is set on the 15th of
May, and the menu will be the traditional Malaysian Nasi Lemak and
fried veggie noodles. I believe it will taste as good as the briyani
in the previous budget lunch. Secondly, MUISS, in collaboration with
SAM and ASEAN Club, is proud to present everyone with our Ski Trip.
Planning is in the progress, and tickets will be available during week
10 or 11. Please stay in touch, as this is a great event not to be
missed!
Furthermore, our second free iPod competition has just started! For
those who want to win an iPod, this is your last chance! Sign up and
participate in the forums; who knows, you might be a happy iPod owner
in a few weeks' time!
As for the other international clubs, Japanese Club will be organising
a Karaoke Night at Jankara; for those of you who love singing, this is
an opportunity not to be missed out, as the price is extremely cheap.
For CCSM, they will be organising a beach trip on the 6th of May.
Excellent chance for people who want to de-stress and recharge to
prepare for the final examinations. Last but not least, SAM is
bringing you the one of the largest blockbuster of the year-Spiderman
3! Interested Spidey fans can visit SAM booth opposite STA to get
their tickets, as ticket sales begins this week!
