A person has asked me if I can transcribe MP3 files of interviews. I
have Flip4Mac, which uses QuickTime to play files. I have never
played a MP3 file, although I have watched .wmv videos with Flip4Mac.
It appears from the QuickTime instructions that I can play audio.

She mentioned that if I had a keyboard with pause and start features,
it may make things easier. I do not have such a keyboard. I
primarily use a G4 tower (AGP graphics) running 10.3.9 with a
standard keyboard.

Has anyone had experience playing MP3 files with Flip4Mac? Do you
know if I could get a keyboard with pause and start features for my
G4 tower?

Please advise. Thanks.

Leith

Hi Leith
you can play them in iTunes (File menu > Add to Library > select the
files you want) or QuickTime Player
you can use the spacebar to start and pause playback
I hope this helps
