colours and general layout? The email - is this to send a message to
another member or to receive an email of a message in one's own
mailbox (which was wanted by some people? Can you also leave PMs for
members as done on the one I set up?

I expect so. The email I received informing me of the new forum
mentioned they had spent some time making those adjustments.

The preferences under emails say that you can be sent emails for
various notifications of postings. Doesn't specifically say that you
get the text of the posting. I'll have a closer look.

As the prefs say that you can receive notifications of private
messages...
