[Discuss] /etc/resolv.conf overwritten after reboot: wants coordinate boot process

I noticed that I had a system that had problems connecting to the autofs server after a reboot.  The issue appears to be the order that things come up. I had to add a file with the "wants" parameter.  This solved the problem.

Then a totally different team noticed the same error on their servers. So, I don't know what this impacts but I thought it may be a bigger problem than just my servers.

That's some odd behavior to get triggered like this. If you can
elaborate, which distro / version are you using? I'm assuming a Red Hat
variant but wanted to be sure.

Hope you can get some resolution soon.
