Craig Maloney requested that I do some traceroute's.

Did not have the traceroute command, had to install.

Google's search page can not even be reached/found as implied by error
message.

Those timings are pretty slow. Unless you're on satellite or a very slow
2G hotspot those aren't even close to what you should be seeing. You
might want to talk with your ISP to see what is going on.

That said, I think you are on satellite, based on addresses 2 and 3, so
those pings are not unexpected. Again, you might want to call up your
ISP to diagnose this. I'm not sure it's on your end.

It might be as simple as restarting your cable modem (or whatever device you have for satelite).
