The story of the POLAROID ORIGINALS FILM is almost as unbelievable as it is impossible. In order to understand this product`s true nature, please allow us to serve you a condensed short version of how it all started:
The impossible journey origins in the year 2003 with the very first instant self portrait Florian Kaps took with an old Polaroid Camera from the flea market 1. Immediately, he was addicted to the mysterious magic of this incredible material and started to dive deeper. Surprisingly the world, including the Polaroid management itself, seemed to have totally lost faith in the relevance of instant film. You could hardly find any supply, there was no real communication and it seemed clear that the days of Polaroids were counted.
Co-star Shea Whigham told RadioTimes.com: "When you have someone like Tom, he figures these things out... We needed that at the time, we needed somebody like Tom Cruise to lead us because there's no playbook for how to do a film in a pandemic. He's an amazing leader, he really is."
Gaslit star Shea Whigham is also set to star in the movie, confirming his role to be Jasper Briggs in an interview with RadioTimes.com, a mysterious figure who is tracking Ethan Hunt for reasons unknown.

Official data on power consumption and electric range were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the NEDC take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size; figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies, if applicable. Where applicable, the NEDC values listed were calculated based on the new WLTP measurement procedure and then converted back to the NEDC measurement procedure for comparability reasons. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP. For more information on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures, see
Two years after the capture of Solomon Lane, the remains of his organization The Syndicate have reformed into a terrorist group known as The Apostles. At an IMF safehouse in Belfast, Ethan Hunt receives details of a mission to intercept the sale of three plutonium cores to members of the group, who are acquiring them for their latest client, fundamentalist John Lark. The mission takes him to Berlin where he meets up with Benji Dunn and Luther Stickell, but the mission fails when Luther is taken hostage and Ethan's attempt to save him results in the Apostles escaping with the plutonium. The team quickly captures and interrogates a nuclear weapons expert, Nils Debruuk, who has been working with the group to build three portable nuclear weapons, tricking him into believing attacks have occurred on religious sites in Rome, Jerusalem and Mecca to obtain information on the Apostles' next move.
At Ramstein Air Base, Erika Sloane, Director of the CIA, instructs Special Activities operative August Walker to shadow Ethan, as he attempts to retrieve the plutonium. Ethan and Walker HALO jump into Paris, where they infiltrate a fundraiser party at the Grand Palais where Lark is set to buy the cores from the Apostles, with the arms dealer known as the White Widow acting as a broker. Ethan and Walker track Lark to a bathroom where in the subsequent fight, Lark is killed by Ilsa Faust. To complete the mission, Ethan impersonates John Lark and meets the White Widow via a Dunhill Drop.
Contract killers have been sent by other terrorist organizations to kill Lark in order to rule him out of the bidding war for the plutonium cores; with Ethan impersonating Lark, he escapes with White Widow. In order to secure the plutonium, the White Widow tasks Ethan with securing an asset; the price of securing the plutonium is the extraction of Solomon Lane from an armored convoy moving through Paris. Ethan receives one of the plutonium cores as a payment in kind for the mission. Ethan and his team attack the convoy and loyalties of the team are tested; Ilsa reveals that MI6 wants Lane dead. A motorcycle and car chase ensues across Paris, with Ethan avoiding the White Widow's forces, the police and Ilsa, who has to kill Lane to fulfill her mission for MI6. The mission to extract Lane is successful, whereupon White Widow instructs the team to deliver Lane, as well as Ilsa, to London.
Joining the team are fresh faces, such as the talented Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and many more. The action-packed scenes promise a rollercoaster ride of suspense and high-stakes missions, all brought to life by the visionary minds of Cruise and writer-director Christopher McQuarrie.

The Impossible Mission Force, or IMF for short, is an independent espionage agency commonly employed by the United States government. While the IMF is based in the U.S., as seen in the third film, several of its personnel are from different countries around the world. Thus, the IMF is a multinational espionage agency. As revealed in the seventh film, the IMF exists solely to complete the missions that other organizations, such as the CIA, MI6 or FBI, would find are either the least of their concern or too risky to undertake.
For this reason, the IMF trains its field operatives extremely rigorously in the ways of stealth, deception, persuasion and the art of "invisibility." On the other hand, the most successful mission teams usually employ methods drawn from the criminal element of grand-scale confidence games which they can play on specific mission targets. These IMF agents are well-educated, multi-talented and highly trained in a variety of areas including demolition tactics, long-range surveillance, computers and even assassination. As one of the best-funded espionage organizations in the world, the IMF can possess multiple millions of dollars' worth in specialized gadgetry and weapons.
Most, but not all, of the IMF agents are on top of the line, and some have been disciplined or expelled from the agency for their unacceptable behavior during missions. The spies expelled from the IMF are the most dangerous individuals to the agency, as they could easily expose secrets about the organization to any number of foreign and rogue governments. Worst of all, as skilled as they are in playing grand-scale confidence games, they could easily entrap the most reliable operatives in such games and thereby compromise them. The only known man to be removed from IMF service was Sean Ambrose.
With continued success since the 1940s, the IMF bears the brunt of today's international attacks, now focused on concealed entry and espionage. The missions keep growing harder and harder - but so do the agents.
The IMF normally operates primarily by executing confidence tricks on its mission targets, sometimes with the aid of high-tech gadgets. The agents are able to deceive their targets into cooperating with them without detecting a set-up until the mission is accomplished; by that time, the IMF personnel have already vanished from the scene.
In a worst-case scenario during undercover missions in which its presence becomes known, the IMF can become a subject to disavowal under order from the President's fail-safe initiative, "Ghost Protocol". With this initiative in place, the IMF is completely shut down, and any or all agents in the field are hereby unable to access any specific safe houses, receiving support, using satellites or sending extraction to their specific location. Unfortunately, the IMF was later disavowed again, after a disarmed missile took out part of the Transamerica Pyramid at the end of Ghost Protocol.
Ethan Hunt and his team used the disavowal of the IMF to exercise more restraint in their actions in stopping a nuclear extremist, Kurt Hendricks, than would normally be possible during an official mission given by the mission commanders or by their top agents.
Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) of the IMF(Impossible Mission Force) is assigned to retrieve half of a powerful key from his ally Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson). He learns about Entity, a dangerous rogue AI system, and decides to find the second half of the key to gain control over it. Ethan embarks on a perilous mission, facing hurdles and encountering others with their own motivations to possess the whole key to control the Entity. The rest of the story follows his journey to find the key and prevent Entity from causing harm to the world. Does Ethan succeed in stopping the powerful AI system? You will find the answers in the movie.
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
